Spiced Mojito



Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60ml) Spiced Rum (we used Sailor Jerry’s)
  • 8-12 Mint leaves
  • 3/4 oz (22ml) lime juice
  • 3/4 oz (22ml) Simple Syrup made from white sugar
  • 1 oz (30ml) Soda (or to taste)
  • Garnish - Mint sprig (stemmed if you have it)
Instructions:
  1. Add simple syrup and mint to a shaker.
  2. Muddle gently. Press lightly so you’re releasing the oils not mashing the mint as that will make the drink bitter.
  3. Add rum and lime juice
  4. Shake over ice and double-strain into an iced collins glass.
  5. Add soda water - 1oz (30ml) or to taste.
  6. Gently Mix with bar spoon
  7. Garnish with a mint sprig (stemmed if you have it).
